1973 Methodist Primary School, Jalan Gasing, Petaling Jaya UFO Incident

Dear GA,

I read your BlogSpot with great interests. I have great interests in UFO since I saw the flying saucer landed on top of the tree in our school yard, whilst we were having PE in the year 1973. There was about 30 of us in our class together with our class teacher. Two of my classmates climbed up the tree and tried to captured both the saucer and the tiny creatures but before they could reached to the top they were shot down with high energy laser and both were hospitalized.....

Presently, I'm very interested to get both copies of Encik Ahmad Jamaludin's books i.e. "A Summary of Unidentified Flying Objects & Related Events in Malaysia (1950 to 1980) and "60 Years of Neglected Evidence". You mentioned in your BlogSpot that they were out-of-print...how then may I get them? Pls advise.

Yours-In-UFO,

Vincent

THREE ORANGE UFOs SEEN IN KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA

On Wednesday, February 25, 2004, at 11 p.m., eyewitness S. "was sitting at a coffee shop in Kuala Lumpur," the capital of Malaysia "when I saw three orange lights flying in unison. Two broke away and flew all over the sky. They traveled at a very high speed. Then one joined the other, and they broke away again. Then they both flew upward, becoming smaller and smaller until they disappeared. I would say I had them in view for about 20 minutes. I think they were at the same flight level that airliners fly (35,000 feet or 10,500 meters--J.T.).

We have had UFOs in Malaysia before, but these were quite striking. They departed to the west over Kelang." (Email Form Report)

Sabahans abuzz over mystery lights in the night skies

(The original article was taken from THE STAR ONLINE, Sept 2, 2014. You can see it over here.)

KOTA KINABALU: Mysterious lights streaking across in the night sky here Tuesday had Sabahans abuzz in social media, with no one able to give a clear explanation on the incident.

Meteorologists, policemen and firemen were unable to explain the pillar-shaped lights that moved across the sky in the Putatan area, around 9.30pm, for several minutes.

Some netizens said the lights came from lanterns or flares from the Sabah Oil and Gas Terminal in Kimanis. Others claimed alien spaceships were responsible, among a host of other possibilities.

Such lights appearing over the coastal waters of western Sabah are not rare and have been seen from time to time, said some netizens, adding that they believed it was a natural phenomenon.

Some posted studies on similar incidents, where luminous streaks of vertical cigar-shape lights were attributed to reflections caused by ground-based lights on high clouds.

There were also postings on such reflections being caused by big flames originating from oil refineries, according to studies on unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP).

Sabah Meteorological Department director Abdul Malek Tussin, when contacted, said his department did not receive any reports about the lights in the sky.

However, he said they were investigating and ascertaining if it was a natural phenomenon or reflections from other sources.

Police and firemen said they did not receive any reports of the bright lights in the sky while Kota Kinabalu airport air controllers did not spot anything unusual over the city's skies on Tuesday night.

Debunking the link between Malaysia Airlines MH370 And UFOS

Of course when something strange and unexplainable happens, all sorts of conspiracy theories will come out from people. The latest is about how the disappearance of MH370 on the morning of March 8th 2014 is somehow linked with the sightings of UFOS in Thailand's Phuket Island during the few days after MH370 mysteriously disappeared.

Even a reader of this blog wrote a comment on this in one of the posts -

I would like to study the possibility of UFOs influence in the case of the MH370 flight. xxxx@mail.tmn.pt

And according to the Daily Mail of UK, one in ten Americans believe 'space aliens' was involved in the disappearance of MH370. Click here to read this article. Wow! That's is really deep shit.

However, we at UFO Sightings Malaysia Blogspot think there is a more logical explanation rather than blaming UFOS for the mysterious disappearance of flight MH370.

We offer a few reasons for this belief -
  • There are many pilots and passengers who have seen UFOS while flying in a plane and they do not come to any harm.
  • Since commercial flights are non-threatening and normally stay away from the UFOS flight path.
  • Since commercial planes do not carry weapons the UFOS will usually ignore them.
  • And the pilot and co-pilot will still have time to report the UFOS encounter to the control tower either before or after it happened.

Until the debris is found and examined, no story is accurate. But for the few reasons we offer above, it is definitely not the doing of some UFOs.
